COVID-19 Update
For the safety of our patients and staff, we follow all CDC, Santa Clara Public Health Department and Cal-OSHA as well as California Dental Association and American Dental Association regulations and “best practices”.
Social Distancing and Covid-19 Screening
Patients must call our office upon arrival and a staff member will greet them outside.
Patients must fill out a Covid-19 screening form, have their temperature taken, and have their blood oxygen concentration determined before entering the office. If there are any issues with any of these measures, then the patient will not be permitted to enter the office.
The number of patients allowed in our office is limited to ensure adequate social distancing.
Patients must wear a mask to enter the building.
Patients will be asked to disinfect their hands and to rinse their mouth with a peroxide rinse upon entering the office.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
The highest level of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn for the safety of both patients and staff including N95 face masks, face shields, eye protection (goggles or safety glasses), isolation gowns, shoe coverings and hair coverings.
Aerosol Controls and Minimization
Our office utilizes high volume suction, rubber dams, and air purifiers with HEPA filters and UV light. Airflow is directed toward external vents.
Disinfection and Sterilization
All disinfection and sterilization is performed to OSHA standards (the strictest and most stringent regulations.)
